A gorgeous balance of bold colors and stunning prints. Rather than having too much of a good thing, brings just enough of each element to this dazzling dining room. Balance the bright green wall covering by using softer shades of the same color variation with the chandelier, window treatments and rug selection. By seeing the big picture, bring the room into harmony, rather than focusing on smaller features.
If possible, get couches and chairs that have legs and a little bit of space between the bulk of the piece and the floor. This will make the space brighter by letting light come through underneath and gives you extra storage space for keeping pillows, blankets or anything else you need out of the way.
Small rooms tend to have small windows too which can make the space feel even tinier than it is. Give the illusion of larger windows by using drapes strategically. Get a rod thats wider than your window by a foot or two on either side. That way, you can open the curtains fully, but give the illusion there is more window behind the rest of the curtains. Also try layering your drapes in different shades to give them a flowy, light look and stick to lighter colours to brighten up the room.
Only one. One single beautiful plant can become a wonderful focal point for the living or any other room. It should be, however, a large plant. Place it in a corner to maximize your space and to avoid wasting floor space. Make sure it is in a space with plenty of light, preferably near the window.
